Training Manager - Stockholm, Sweden

Join our training team where you will help contribute and optimize our core technical curriculum, working alongside Product Management for new product releases, and solution architects and subject matter experts in the generation of materials.

The primary role of the Episerver Technical Trainer will be the delivery of scheduled classroom, virtual online, and onsite technical training courses through our European market, to both customers and partners alike. This will be from our European Headquarters in Stockholm.

The Technical trainer must be extremely knowledgeable in their field of expertise and possess a solid technical aptitude. Additionally, we expect you to be an excellent communicator, along with being able to explain complex subjects in a clear and interesting way. The individual must demonstrate the ability to teach new technical material, deliver new offerings and services, and/or implement new Episerver Applications training modules with minimal supervision.

The Role

  • Deliver technical training courses as classroom-based engagements worldwide, as well as virtual classes delivered over the web
  • Deliver technical training workshops and presentations at global technical conferences
  • Develop tailored course agendas to meet specific partner needs
  • Manage classroom setup, lecture, and hands-on lab exercises for all assigned education engagements
  • Design and implement classroom and web-based training, including presentation and lab exercise materials, test questions, and instructor guides
  • Serve as a resource and subject matter expert for instructional designers in the development of new training materials

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years delivering technical training services to technical audiences such as Software Developers/Engineers, Quality Assurance Engineers, Administrators and End Users
  • 5+ years of .NET programming experience
  • Strong C#, .NET and ASP.NET MVC skills
  • 2+ years technical or professional experience using Web Content Management System products, e-Commerce products or related software
  • Experience developing technical curriculum and new content to extend and enhance existing Episerver training materials
  • Ability to quickly learn and master a complex technical product
  • Ability to travel in Sweden and Western Europe and work flexible hours to accommodate global virtual delivery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work with a wide range of audiences

Desirable skills

  • Front-end technologies including: HTML5, CSS and Javascript frameworks like React, Angular or Vue
  • Full-stack web development experience
  • Experience creating and maintaining hands on lab environments
  • Industry recognized certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, etc.
