Our Google rankings are higher across the board

Artex got increased traffic, higher Google rankings and less phone calls to the customer service department from upgrading its four websites to EPiServer CMS.
As a top manufacturer of window coverings, Dutch company Artex – a subsidiary of the global leader Hunter Douglas – needs to reach both its dealer network and consumers with relevant information to facilitate their buying decisions. In 2011, Artex decided to upgrade its four websites, all of which were more than five years old, using a modern, interactive, user friendly solution.
"We have four websites, five different brands and a huge selection of products aimed at both consumers and professionals. Moving away from our previous static solution meant that we needed to find a workable way of keeping the sites up to date. Our decision to upgrade our websites with EPiServer has enabled us to integrate the back office for all four websites using one common solution. When we change the content or design, all four sites are updated automatically, thereby ensuring that they always contain the latest news and collections," says Leonore Assies-van de Ven, Marketing and Communications Manager at Artex.
"The results speak for themselves: traffic on the four sites is up by an average of 25 percent, while our Google rankings are higher across the board. Furthermore, telephone enquiries have decreased substantially, due to the fact that customers can access more of the information they need directly online," says Leonore.
